| The Beach
The beach has been awarded a European Blue Flag for cleanliness and its facilities. Ramps give access to the beach, and a concrete path runs along the rear of the sands.
There is safe bathing in the bay, with lifeguards operating a flag system. A wide variety of water sports is available from the western end of the beach. These include windsurfing, kayaking, water skiing, jet skiing, sailing, pedalos, banana boat rides, paragliding and ring rides. There are also boat trips to neighbouring beaches.
Loungers and parasols are available on the beach, which is part sand and part shingle, so it's helpful to bring beach shoes.
A sea breeze reduces temperatures in summer, making Pissouri the perfect resort for windsurfing and kite surfing.
In July and August, small sections of the beach may be cordoned off to protect turtles' nests.
