Pissouri Bay holiday villa with pool - stylish, modern, attractive gardens
Deposit: A non returnable 30% deposit secures your booking for the confirmed dates, at the advertised rental.
Balance and Security Bond: The 70% balance, plus £200 security bond, is due 2 calendar months prior to arrival. We send a reminder a week before, but reserve the right to cancel the booking if payment is late.
Cancellation: If you cancel after payment, we will try our utmost to re-let by offering your dates as a discounted 'late deal' on our website, by emailing past guests, and via social media. If successful, we will return your rental, minus expenses. Otherwise, we will refund unused elements (welcome pack, electricity, cleaning, laundry).
What We Do
Keep the villa, contents, garden and pool maintained to a high standard.
Ensure the website is regularly updated to reflect changes at the villa.
Supply a guest handbookexplaining the villa, appliances and local information. A-Z summary.
Provide maps, guide books, tourist leaflets, plus our guestbook with comments and tips from previous visitors.
Employ an experienced English-speaking local manager, should the need arise.
Maintain specialist holiday letting insurance. This does not cover guest belongings, or losses due to negligence.
Respond promptly to questions and welcome feedback.
Keep you informed via social media about events, places, activities, etc. to help you make the most of your holiday.
Add you to our mailing list (late availability due to cancellation, and the occasional eNewsletter). Opt out any time.
Assuming everything is OK, return your security bond within 2 weeks of your stay. In the rare event that we need to make a deduction, this will be itemised and charged at cost.
What Our Agents Do
Prepare the villa for you to arrive any time from 16:00 on arrival day.
Check that the keys are left in the key safe for you.
Ensure that the villa is clean and inviting, with fresh bed linen and bath towels. Change provided for 2-week rentals.
Leave a welcome pack to get you started (wine, bread, milk, Flora, water, eggs, tea/coffee/sugar sachets, toilet rolls).
Provide on-the-spot support (phone / visit) in case of any problems.
Address any issues promptly and professionally, if need be calling one of our trusted tradesmen.
Check the villa after your stay, to trigger your security bond return. If we don't have immediate arrivals, this may take a couple of days.
What We Ask of You
Please read the guest handbook as soon as possible after arrival. If you have any questions, please check the handbook before calling our manager.
Be a considerate tenant, taking care of the property and contents, leaving the villa clean and tidy on departure.
If anything is not as it should be, contact our manager (or us) promptly, so that any problems can be addressed as soon as possible during your stay. Even if it's something that doesn't bother you too much, the next guests may feel differently.
Strictly no smoking in either the villa or garden, please.
The rental includes fair use of the air conditioning: minimum 20ºC, windows closed, occupied rooms. Excessive consumption may incur a surcharge.
We strongly advise you to take out holiday insuranceat the time of booking to cover emergencies such as cancellation, lost luggage, and medical evacuation. Although the EHIC entitles you to free care at state hospitals, the local medical centres are both private.
Ensure all downstairs doors and windows are locked whenever you leave the property. Please check all windows on arrival, in case previous guests have left anything unlocked.
Please make use of the electronic safe for keeping cash, passports, valuables, etc secure.
Whilst we provide indoor white bath towels, and long coloured towels to wrap round the lounger cushions, we ask you to bring outdoor towels for the pool / beach.
If you are using the travel cot, bring familiar bedding to help your baby / toddler feel at home.
Consider neighbours, particularly regarding noise. Booked guests only overnight. Day guests need prior permission. No parties.
You are welcome to use the barbecue, on the proviso that you clean it for the next guests.
You agree to inform us of damage or losses incurred during your stay. We do not charge for the odd plate or glass, and keep spares. Other items would be charged at cost. In the event that the losses go beyond your security bond or our insurance, you further agree to indemnify us.
Our WiFi is not used for downloads that will cause problems with our service provider MyTelco.
Return the keys to the key safe, twirl the dials, and vacate the premises by 11:00 on departure day - unless we have no guests arriving, and a late checkout has been agreed.
We reserve the right to terminate your rental without compensation for breaches of these terms.
Swimming Pool Rules
Children must have adult supervision at all times.
No glassware near the pool. Plastic 'glasses' provided.
Remove sunscreen before swimming. Self-tanning products and some sunscreens stain pool liners.
Be aware of pool depths and the location of the life ring.
No diving in the shallow end.
Do not use the pool alone, in case of accident.
Non-swimmers should wear flotation aids.
Do not swim within an hour of eating a heavy meal, after drinking alcohol, or if unwell.
Internet, WiFi and Internet TV is subject to technical availability.
You may experience occasional temporary electricity or water interruptions. We will warn you via text if we are notified. There is a 650 litre tank in the loft to allow you to wash and flush if the mains water is cut for a longer period.
